Insanga has spent decades on Korea's bamboo salt tradition — sea salt fired again and again over pine wood until it transforms. This paste is built on that craft: a roughly 97% naturally derived formula, no fluoride, no SLS.

What Bamboo Salt Toothpaste Is

Bamboo salt (jukyeom) is Korean sun-dried sea salt packed into bamboo and fired until it hardens into a mineral-dense salt. This Forest Mint paste carries it at 30,000 ppm — the highest bamboo salt level registered for a toothpaste with Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

Origin & Authenticity

Insanga built its name on jukyeom. West Sea sun-dried salt is packed into three-year bamboo, capped with hwangto loess clay, and fired eight times at 800–900°C. The ninth firing passes 1,300°C, where the salt melts and runs out like lava before cooling into the finished crystal — nine firings across 700–1,600°C, the same salt as our K-Lava jukyeom line.

How to Use It

Expect two things on day one: less foam than a conventional paste, and a brief salty taste that fades as you brush. Both are normal.

• Apply a small amount to your toothbrush.
• Brush gently for about two minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly. Do not swallow.
• Recap and store at room temperature.
