Korean Elm Bark, known locally as Yugeunpi (유근피) or the "Nose Tree," has been a cherished remedy in Korean folk tradition for generations. Harvested from the root bark of the Slippery Elm tree, it is famous for its unique slippery texture when brewed. This natural mucilage provides a gentle coating effect, making it highly regarded for soothing sensitive digestive systems and maintaining comfort in the nasal passages.
Our Yugeunpi is sourced from clean, mountainous regions in Korea. It is carefully dried to preserve its high mucilage content, which is the key indicator of quality.
To extract the beneficial mucilage (the slippery substance), a proper decoction method is recommended.
We love this tea and have sent your website to several friends so if you saw orders from Maryland it’s probably from our referral! We will continue to order more!
