성질은 따뜻하고[溫] 맛이 달며[甘] 약간 쓰고[微苦] 독이 없다. 부족한 혈을 크게 보하고 수염과 머리털을 검게 하며 골수를 보충해 주고 살찌게 하며 힘줄과 뼈를 든든하게 한다. 뿐만 아니라 허손증(虛損證)을 보하고 혈맥을 통하게 하며 기운을 더 나게 하고 귀와 눈을 밝게 한다.

How to drink tea

1. 10-20g of Rehmannia root
2. 500ml of water
3. Honey or sugar (optional)

Prepare the Rehmannia root: Rinse the dried Rehmannia root thoroughly. If needed, use Rehmannia root purchased from a herbal store.

Boil: Pour 500ml of water into a pot and add the Rehmannia root. Once the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for an additional 20-30 minutes.

Strain: Once the tea is sufficiently steeped, turn off the heat and use a strainer to remove the Rehmannia root pieces.

Flavor (optional): The Rehmannia root tea may have a slightly bitter taste, so you can add a bit of honey or sugar to adjust the flavor.

Serve: Enjoy the tea warm, or let it cool and drink it chilled.

You can make a larger quantity at once, store it in the refrigerator, and reheat it as needed.
